I realized today that I’ve pretty much not given my blog a single thought in the last little bit. I’ve been kinda busy….. Construction is still going on at The Makery. We only have a couple of weeks left of work and I think we will be ready to open. We have been working on it when we can, there just aren’t enough hours in the day to do all that needs to be done. Here are some progress photos.
This awesome pallet tower my hubby built will be a display for bags, purses, and artwork.
This little friendly kitty sure does want to come in and help. I’m thinkin she’d make a good shop cat 
The best news is that we have air conditioning!! Really good air conditioning!!

This is Edison, the hipster gnome. I bought Edison when we lived in Nashville. He made the trip home with us and has since become sort of a mascot for The Makery. It’s just something we do for fun, now that I look at him he kinda resembles my uncle Bob……
I can’t wait until all this paper comes down and this door is open! This shop is a dream of mine and we are working so hard to make it come true!
